Planning Applications

Hurley Parish Council has no executive powers in deciding planning applications - this is the prerogative of Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council, which is the local Planning Authority. Whilst the Parish Council does not have the power to determine applications its local knowledge is sought on each and every application. Members of the public, including applicants and their neighbours, are of course welcome to attend our Parish meetings and will be given an opportunity to air their views.  The Parish Council strongly advises applicants to talk to their neighbours about their proposals, before submitting a planning application to RBWM.

The Parish Council has produced notes for the guidance of members of the public on the procedure used for the consideration of plans at the monthly Parish meetings.  These guidance notes can be viewed here >>.

Planning Applications to be considered at the next scheduled Parish Meeting are listed here>> together with the Parish Council's comments to RBWM on previous applications listed in our planning archive.

We have provided a link that takes you to through to the RBWM Planning site. Enter the planning application number shown for the application in the “Search by Application Number” box and click “Search” and a list of documents associated with the application will be shown here>>
